The Sphere Standards are a vital reference resource for national and international actors in the field of humanitarian aid. The Sphere Handbook is a globally recognised resource for the planning, implementation and evaluation of humanitarian aid. It encompasses the Humanitarian Charter, Protection Principles, Core Humanitarian Standard, and Minimum Humanitarian Standards for WASH, Food Security, Shelter and Health. The latest training package for the Sphere Standards was published in 2022.

Upon completion of the training, participants will:
– be familiar with the Sphere Handbook as a resource for project implementation, in particular the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) and the rights-based approach
– know how to practically implement the Sphere standards and principles in various crisis scenarios / their own projects.

The training is for member organisations of Global Responsibility.
