Sphere’s Coordinator for Ukraine and Eastern Europe joined the first edition of CHL’s Crisis Leadership Programme which proved to be an excellent experience not only on the matters of leadership but also as a general introduction to humanitarian action.
The Crisis Leadership Program is a new learning opportunity designed to strengthen the leadership skills of people providing frontline assistance in the Ukraine crisis. Participatory and action-focused, this streamlined course provides insights to better understand and navigate the disaster response system, as well as build skills as a leader.
The course comprised of four self-paced learning modules of around three hours a week and live sessions that connect participants with educators and fellow participants once every two weeks. The course was closed by a three-day in-person workshop in Poland to fast track learning and connect with like-minded people and organisations.
