A training workshop on the principles of disaster management to develop our volunteer’s skills

In order to continue working effectively; The #SyrianArabRedCrescent organized a training workshop for 25 volunteers on the principles of disaster management, to prepare them for an optimal response.

The training focused on how to respond to disasters in various fields, starting with the concept of emergency readiness and assessing emergency needs.
Which included basic life axes such as nutrition, food security, health, water, sanitation, securing shelter and restoring family links. Only after concentrating and discussing the principles and components of the international movement and the Sphere project.

With the support of the #DanishRedCross, the training lasted for 5 days in #Damascus
