The Centre for Humanitarian Analytics (CHA), Sphere’s focal point organisation in Zimbabwe, is entering a cooperation agreement with the Government of Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, the Department of Civil Protection and the Meteorological Services Department to improve the existing foundation and structure for an integrated disaster early warning system across Zimbabwe.

(This event was originally scheduled for 7 May. It was postponed because the Zimbabwe government signatories travelled to Manicaland following a hailstorm disaster in the Chipinge and Mutasa districts. CHA and Sphere stand in solidarity with the affected families.)
