Specialist Sphere training (Shelter focus), SSCC, Homs, Syria, Jan-Feb 2021

Sphere training was conducted specialized in: Monasticism of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary with a focus on shelter due to their shelter work.
The training, which lasted 4 days, taking into account the precautionary measures against the Coronavirus, included the following:
What is Sphere – the humanitarian charter – principles of protection – core humanitarian standards
Technical part for water, food security, nutrition and health
Technical part in shelter – the shelter relation with other chapters in a practical way – the shelter relation with the principles of protection and core humanitarian standards in a practical way – linking the theoretical aspects with what is implemented in reality
Code of Conduct – Understanding Vulnerabilities and Capabilities (Gender – People with Disabilities – Environment – … etc)
An applied case study is a similar scenario to what is being implemented that includes a four sector response with a focus on shelter
