A series of launch events to celebrate the publication of the Sphere Handbook 2018 will be organised across Pakistan by Community World Service Asia in collaboration with our partners, University of Punjab, Peshawar University, Accountability Learning and Working Group (ALWG), Asian Disaster Risk Reduction Network (ADRRN), Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF), Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), the DRR Forum, Sindh.
The revised edition of the Sphere handbook marks a significant achievement for humanitarian quality and accountability. It consolidates learning and evidence from those operations which have most effective humanitarian response in recent years, while also reflecting on the expertise of a diverse range of global practitioners who have directly contributed in the revision process over the past year.
Community World Service Asia, being the Sphere country focal point in Pakistan is hosting the Sphere 2018 Handbook launch across Pakistan. To launch the handbook here, they are collaborating with their partners, ACBAR, who along with their members and partners, have played a significant role in the handbook revision process. Their support has ensured the process to be more comprehensive and inclusive.
