Sphere Handbook Launch – London, UK

In 2018, the fourth edition of the Sphere Handbook was launched, marking the 20th anniversary of this core reference. It compiles experience, practice, and evidence from thousands of practitioners around the world to provide the best available standards, principles and concrete guidance in a practical form to improve the quality and accountability of humanitarian action.

Since the global launch, the Handbook has been introduced to the humanitarian community through multiple local events across 6 continents. On the 5th June, the UK launch of the Handbook will take place in London.

Sphere Director, Christine Knudsen will lead a panel discussion, where the revisions to the Handbook will be unpacked by sector experts, followed by an opportunity to delve into the technical chapters in breakout groups led by some of those involved in the revisions.

The event will be concluded with lunch.
