Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards Training, 24-26 June 2025, USA

Join ELCA Lutheran Disaster Response for a free training event for the Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response Training. Sphere defines, promotes and applies humanitarian principles and minimum standards in four life-saving areas: water, sanitation and hygiene promotion; food security and nutrition; shelter and settlement; and health.

Over three days, the course will systematically explain the main contents and practice of Sphere, including an introduction to the Sphere organization; the origins and core beliefs of Sphere; the Humanitarian Charter; Protection Principles; the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS); and the technical chapters as presented in the 2018 edition of the Sphere Handbook.
