Sphere Introductory Training, 3 and 4 April 2023, Romania

Save The Children (SCI) hosted a one-day workshop on the Sphere Handbook: Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response in Bucharest, Romania on April 3 and 4, 2023. The course was attended by 39 individuals, primarily from SCI offices across Romania. The workshop provided an introduction to the Sphere handbook, technical chapters, and core beliefs, with practical exercises and contextualization opportunities. Participants also learned about the Humanitarian Charter, Protection Principles, and Core Humanitarian Standard. The training was conducted in English on the first day and featured live Romanian translation on the second day. The training was led by the Sphere trainer Aya Yagan with Victoria Kononchuk who presented the Sphere project in Ukraine.
