At the request of local authorities, BIFERD conducted a two-day basic orientation training in Rutshuru Territory, targeting 30 government workers involved in the humanitarian response such as the military authorities, the Congolese National Police and Civil Protection, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and the Humanitarian Affairs Division.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) remains one of the world’s most protracted humanitarian crises in the world. In 2022, an estimated 27 million people need humanitarian assistance and protection.
