The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) will hold a 2-day training on the Sphere Standards in the state of Bahia, Brazil, with the support of SEBRAE (Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises).
After several floods that caused major damages in several municipalities in the state of Bahia, the Fraternity – Humanitarian Missions (FIHM) will be imparting knowledge of the Humanitarian Standards in emergencies, to public workers, of some affected municipalities (Itacaré, Ilhéus, Itabuna, Uruçuca, Itajuípe and Itapé) , civil society organizations, community-based organizations as well as some entrepeneurs.
Organizations such as Mecenas da Vida, Red Cross Brasil and the Regional Council of Psychology are attending as well.
This training aims to offer the affected municipalities, the tools and knowledge to face all the dificulties this type of emergencies entail.
