Sphere Standards Training of Trainers Programme, All Mozambique, Sept – Dec 2021

The ToT programme started with a series of 1/2 day and 3-day workshops across Mozambique’s 11 provinces to provide Sphere training for over 200 humanitarian practitioners, and to identify candidates to continue with the ToT programme.

Applications to attend were welcomed from anyone involved in the humanitarian response in Mozambique, with priority given to those most likely to benefit from the training and to widely disseminate their new knowledge to their partners and colleagues. Participation was free. Workshops were conducted in Portuguese and English.

• Xai-Xai, Gaza Province, and Inhambane, Inhambane Province, 28th October 2021 (1/2-day, online)
• Chimoio, Manica Province (with attendees from Sofala and Tete Provinces) 1st-3rd November 2021 (3-day, in-person)
• Nampula City, Nampula Province (with attendees from Zambezia Province),22nd-24th November 2021 (3-day, in-person)
• Pemba, Cabo Delgado Province (with attendees from Niassa Province, 17th-19th November 2021 (3 day, in-person)
• A Training of Trainers (ToT) event took place in Maputo, Maputo City, 29th November – 03 December 2021. ToT participants selected from workshop graduates.
