Even in times of crisis, humanitarian response must be provided based on appropriate guidelines and principles.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Syria has recently launched its campaign “For Syria” to assist those affected by the earthquake.

To further support the efforts of the operative teams on the ground, therefore, we would like to invite you to an online workshop entitled (Basics of Humanitarian Action Based on the Sphere Standards Handbook), which is one of the campaign’s complementary phases.

Overview:
– An Introduction to the Sphere Handbook, its Establishment, and its Chapters
– Humanitarian Charter
– Protection Principles (along with providing examples on the current response)
– Core Humanitarian Standards (along with their applications on the current response)

Duration: 6 hours; 2 days
Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday (7th and 8th of March, 2023)
Time: 4 PM (Damascus Time Zone)
