Sphere training, 8-10 March 2023, Bochum, Germany

The Sphere Handbook represents a principle-based and principled approach to quality and accountability in humanitarian aid. This basic training provides an introduction to the Sphere Handbook with the basics of humanitarian aid – the Humanitarian Charter together with the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and the principles for protection – and the technical standards in the four sectors WASH, Food Security and Food, Shelter and Human Settlements and Health. The training focuses on the practical application of the handbook in concrete humanitarian situations. For this purpose, numerous exercises are carried out in small groups.
