Capacity building strengthening is one of the main strategic goals of Terre des Hommes Italy in Syria toward its local staff.

It helps the organisation and humanitarian workers to improve the quality of response, and to adopt new approaches in humanitarian work.

Accordingly, Terre des Hommes Italy conducted a training course in “Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response” for 17 humanitarian workers in both head office and field staff.

This training will ensure the continuity of work and sustainability of resources, so that all funds spent have the greatest possible impact on the lives of the most vulnerable people and communities.
