Sphere Training for Syrian lead CSOs, Turkey, 12 December 2017

The 1-day training was part of a 5-day capacity building training organized by STGM and Concern Worldwide Türkiye between 11 and 15 December 2017. The Sphere training was held on 12 December 2017. The training was delivered mainly in Turkish, simultaneous translation in Arabic was provided by STGM, and facilitator provided English translation where necessary. The presentations were supported with handouts in Turkish and Arabic. Hard copies of Sphere Handbooks in Turkish (2004) and Arabic (2011) and soft copies of the English version (2011) were distributed to the participants. A total of 19 persons, 16 from 10 Syrian lead civil society organizations, 3 from Concern (1) and STGM (2) participated in the training. All of them were responsible for implementation of projects, as a senior management member or as project manager. Of 19 participants, 9 were Arabic-native and 10 were Turkish-native persons.
