Sphere Training for Volunteer Supervisors, 30-31 May 2022, Turkey

Turkish Red Crescent Volunteering Department is working actively in times of disasters and humanitarian crises. They are responsible for coordination and supervision of volunteers that are more than 200.000 registered within the Turkish Red Crescent database.

The training that is offered to the professional staff that are working in this department is mainly focused on to introduce the handbook and how professionals and volunteers can benefit from the handbook. The training provided many opportunities for professional staff as some of the volunteers would like to develop certain skills on technical chapters.

The sectoral discussions based on the current developments and expertises from different humanitarian crisis allowed participants to learn from each other and develop synergy between different workstreams.
