Sphere Training, Homs, Syria, Nov 2019

A training course on Sphere for volunteers in Homs:
To complete the plans that raise the level of humanitarian services provided by volunteers in the #SyrianArabRedCrescent, the Disaster Management Committee in #Homs Branch held a training course on Sphere, participated by 25 volunteers on four days.
The course focused on the Humanitarian Charter, principles of protection, basic human standards, technical chapters on water and sanitation, hygiene and shelter promotion, health, food security, and nutrition, and included case studies for each sector and how planning a realistic response.
This course is supported by the British Red Cross #BRC . It aims to introduce the Sphere Handbook and learn how to build a response based on the Sphere Handbook to increase the efficiency and quality of the humanitarian response
