Sphere Training for Volunteers in Aleppo
following the precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19, the #SyrianArabRedCrescent – #Aleppo held a training on the new edition of #Sphere with an aim to develop volunteers’ skills and improve the quality of humanitarian action.
16 volunteers from different operating teams participated in the training of which the theoretical part covered the humanitarian charter, principles of protection and the minimum humanitarian standards, while the technical part discussed shelter, human settlements, health services, food security, nutrition, water supply, sanitation and health promotion in addition to case studies that simulate the responses that SARC has undertaken, with the support by the #German_Red_Cross.
