Sphere training workshop for volunteers in #Sahnaya and #Ashrafieh_Sahnaya
The #SyrianArabRedCrescent is keen to building capacities of his volunteers in all humanitarian aspects, among them Sphere Standards. Recently, a 4-day training workshop has been organized for 15 volunteers from the Sahnaya and Ashrafieh Sahnaya sub-branches (Rural Damascus). The workshop enriched their knowledge on the Sphere Handbook, which is developed to improve the quality of humanitarian response in situations of disaster and conflict, and on the Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response. It is worth mentioning that precautionary procedures against #COVID-19 were implemented during the workshop.
