Sphere training workshop for volunteers in Rural Damascus

The #SyrianArabRedCrescent seeks to raise the capabilities of its volunteers during human response enhancement by committing to the Sphere Standards whose basis are the quality and accountability.
Recently, 16 volunteers finished a 4-day training workshop that has been organized by Rural Damascus department supported by IFRC.
The workshop enriched the participants’ knowledge on the Sphere Handbook, which is developed to improve the quality of humanitarian response in situations of disaster and conflict, and on the Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response. It is worth mentioning that precautionary procedures against COVID-19 were implemented during the workshop.
