Training of staff on Sphere, 16-20 May 2022, Burkina Faso

18 staff were trained: the training methodology was based on an andragogical approach that fosters active participation; it combined theory (Power Point presentations and plenary discussion), exercises, group work and practice; experience sharing and case studies were also developed.
Based essentially on the fundamentals of humanitarian intervention and the Sphere standards, the session was delivered over five days.
A daily debriefing was held, followed with an assessment of the training by the participants.
At the end of the training, the participants were satisfied at the capacity building they received as stated by the post-test scores.
