New e-learning course on humanitarian coordination

Building a Better Response is based on interactive scenarios and includes an introduction to Sphere principles and standards.

The course’s five units cover aspects of the international humanitarian system that are key to an effective humanitarian response: Foundations of Humanitarian Action; The International Humanitarian Architecture; The Cluster Approach; Planning and Funding the Humanitarian Response; and International Law and Humanitarian Standards.

Building a Better Response is available in English and is free of charge. An Arabic translation will follow soon.

The course was developed by a consortium made up of International Medical Corps, Concern Worldwide and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
