The Sphere Project appoints training and communications staff

The Sphere Project announces that Martin Fisher and Lori Werner have joined its staff in Geneva, strengthening the areas of learning and training as well as communications.

Martin joins the Sphere Project office after working for nine years for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in its zone and field offices. Most recently, he spent four months as planning, monitoring and evaluation manager at the Middle East and North Africa zone office. His IFRC experience includes missions in Haiti and Uzbekistan, as well as facilitating learning events and programmes.

Lori is finishing her Master of Arts in International Non-Governmental Organizations at Webster University in Geneva. Over the past four years she has been heavily involved with publications and promotion of the Humanitarian Conference organized annually by Webster University.
