About Anne

Background is public health in emergencies; with a wide range of experience in humanitarian work over the last 30 years. Facilitated many types of training courses on Sphere, including Sphere ToT.    Commented and contributed to the contents of the handbook; all the editions, from the first edition. Involved in the production and facilitation of training modules on health aspects of Sphere in 2002;    Participated on the Sphere ToT, organised by the Sphere project in 2003;    Conducted a review of the Sphere Project ToT courses in 2004;    Conducted numerous Sphere training courses (organised by various organisations) in:  Sudan, (UNOCHA) ; Pakistan (RedR);    Zimbabwe (Save the Children) ; Kenya (Plan International) ;  Ghana (Plan International) ; Thailand (Plan International); Malawi (Save the Children)  ; Eritrea (Oxfam) ;Myanmar / Burma (CWS A/P); Haiti (part of a Quality and Accountability team) ; UK (RedR) ;Austria (Caritas/RedR) ; Conducted several Training of Trainers courses:    UK (Oxfam)  ; Thailand (CWS-A/P) and the Sphere Project) ;   Afghanistan (CWS-P/A) ; Pakistan (CWS-P/A) ; Sri Lanka (CWS A/P);  Denmark (DanChurchAid) ; Included short sessions on Sphere at various academic institutions, such as Oxford Brookes University, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the NOHA course in Uppsala, Cranfield
