Nina Wöhrmann

I am an independent trainer and consultant with more than 12 years of experience in management and coordination of humanitarian programs. I started working in the development sector during a couple of years in North and Western Africa before I changed for the Humanitarian Sector. I have been managing humanitarian programs, both in HQ as in the field, for several NGOs (with missions in e.g. DR Congo, Niger, Haiti, Burkina Faso), and became an independent trainer and consultant in 2013. Since then, I am providing short term consultancies and trainings (e.g. in Cambodia, Thailand, Ukraine, Lebanon, UK, Germany), as well as longer-term program management (e.g. in Philippines, Myanmar, Serbia). Aspects of quality and accountability assurance and their implementation in the field have always come along with the programs I coordinated and implemented in the field. I am conducting trainings on Q&A related topics, including Sphere and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), CoC and others, but also on project management and needs assessment (simulation exercise).

I am regulary conducting Sphere trainings in Germany, and have trained as well in the UK, in Ukraine, DRC, Myanmar, Philippines, Serbia, Slovenia, Lebanon and Thailand.
