Yvan CONOIR

Yvan Conoir has been a humanitarian professional for the UN (UNHCR, UNICEF) as well as for international NGO (CARE Canada, CECI, Pearson Peacekeeping Training Center) before becoming an international consultant in Evaluation. He has initiated the development of the Master Program in International Development and Humanitarian Action at the University Laval and has taught the management of Humanitarian Operations at the University of Quebec and U. of Montreal. He has been a Sphere Trainer in Canada since the early 2000 and teaches SPHERE on a yearly basis for Master students and NGO Professionals at the University Laval as well as for the canadien Humanitarian Response Network (HRN). Yvan Conoir a œuvré comme humanitaire pour les Nations Unies (UNHCR, UNICEF) ainsi que pour des ONG internationales (CARE Canada, CECI, Centre Pearson pour le maintien de la paix) avant de devenir consultant international en évaluation. Il enseigne depuis ses débuts au Programme de Maîtrise en Développement international et Action humanitaire de l’Université Laval (Québec), ainsi qu’auprès de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) et de l’Université de Montréal. Il est formateur Sphère depuis le début des années 2000 et enseigne les principes de Sphère annuellement pour les étudiants de l’Université Laval ainsi que pour le Réseau de Réponse Humanitaire canadien (HRC). Yvan Conoir ha sido un profesional humanitario para la ONU (ACNUR, UNICEF) así como para ONG internacionales (CARE Canadá, CECI, Pearson Peacekeeping Training Center) antes de convertirse en consultor internacional en Evaluación. Ha iniciado el desarrollo del Programa de Maestría en Desarrollo Internacional y Acción Humanitaria en la Universidad Laval y ha enseñado la gestión de Operaciones Humanitarias en la Universidad de Quebec y Universidad de Montreal. Ha sido formador de Esfera en Canadá desde principios de 2000 y enseña Esfera anualmente para estudiantes de maestría y profesionales de ONG en la Universidad Laval, así como para la Red de Respuesta Humanitaria de Canadá (HRN).
